About the event
Ace the ACT is Montgomery's premier college and career test prep resource. Our course is unique because it not only delves into content skills and testing strategies, but it also places a heavy emphasis on study skills and career planning. We also understand that that many disadvantaged youth --especially our young men-- don't take advantage of resources such as this one. Therefore, we are working to incentivize participation and commitment by (1) providing stipends to students who complete the entire course and (2) awarding cash prizes to students based on their score.
This is an online course. Class sessions will be held for 8 weeks on every Tuesday and Thursday starting August 27th and going through October 17th. Classes will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This is in preparation for students to take the ACT exam on October 26th. (Note: The deadline for registering for that exam is September 20.)
